Although your MKSAP program thoroughly prepares you to excel on the Boards, MKSAP Question Booster Packs are designed for MKSAP subscribers who want additional practice in answering board-like questions.
MKSAP Question Booster Packs
MKSAP Question Booster Packs consist of 3 individual question bank sets, each with 300 unique questions. Each set provides the same type of highly structured, psychometrically validated questions found in MKSAP, with the following benefits:
- An online-only format similar to MKSAP Digital’s question interface, with evidence-based clinical vignettes, key points, educational objectives, and critiques
- You may select one, two, or all three packs, for up to a total of 900 questions
- If you select all 3 packs, you can create custom quizzes across all 900 questions
- Each pack is proportionate in content coverage to the ABIM Certification Exam blueprint
- Affordable pricing: $75 for each 300-question pack ($225 for all 3)

Who are the MKSAP Question Booster Packs intended for?
- Residents and MOC candidates who have purchased either MKSAP 17 or MKSAP 18 and are preparing to sit for the ABIM Boards.
- PGY 1 or 2 residents with a MKSAP 17 or 18 subscription who are preparing for the USMLE Step 3 exam
- 4th-year medical students with a MKSAP 17 or 18 subscription who are preparing for the USMLE Step 2 exam
When will the MKSAP Question Booster Packs be available?
The MKSAP Question Booster Packs will be released on April 30, 2019. You can pre-order them and will receive an e-mail notice when they are released and ready for you to use.
What is the difference between each pack?
Each booster pack set consists of 300 unique multiple-choice questions covering the ABIM Certification Exam blueprint.
The questions in set A, B, and C are unique. This means you will not find identical questions within a set or among the three sets. You will have 300 unique questions to answer when you purchase set A, 600 when you purchase sets A and B, and 900 when you purchase all three sets.
Is there a discount if I purchase all three sets of MKSAP Question Booster Packs?
Each set is available at the affordable price of $75. Discounts for multiple sets are not available.
Am I able to purchase MKSAP Question Booster Pack sets in any order?
The booster pack sets must be bought in sequential order. If you purchase Pack A, and decide to purchase another set, you can then purchase Pack B. Choosing all 3 sets provides you with the most flexibility to create Custom Quizzes using all 900 unique questions and view peer statistics for the entire question bank. Each set is unique and proportionate in content coverage to the ABIM Certification Exam blueprint.
Can I create custom quizzes and check my progress?
Yes, MKSAP Question Booster Packs include the ability to create Custom Quizzes and view live peer statistics to compare your progress with other learners. If you purchase multiple sets, you will be able to expand your Custom Quiz question bank to 600 questions with the purchase of two sets or 900 questions with the purchase of three sets.
How were the questions created?
The questions have been curated from MKSAP’s expansive question bank and reviewed and updated by the Editors of MKSAP to ensure the content is up to date, accurate, and continues to meet the standard of excellence you have come to expect from MKSAP. All MKSAP Question Booster Pack questions are distinct from those included in your MKSAP 17 or MKSAP 18 subscription.
Is CME included?
CME credit and ABIM MOC points are not available with the MKSAP Question Booster Packs.
Is the Practice Test available in MKSAP Question Booster Packs?
The practice test is available as an option within the Custom Quiz feature, included with each of the MKSAP Question Booster Pack sets. If you purchase multiple sets, you can increase the pool of questions for more variety in your practice test experiences.
